Very "good" but not "GREAT"
We came to Seattle on a weekend visit from Portland. We decided to have dinner at the Dahlia Lounge based on it's reputation.

We each had the "Special" of the evening which was a New York Steak.
The meal was "Good" to be sure, but I wasnt at all "Amazed".
I had Oysters as an appetizer and I was a little unimpressed. The Steaks were Good to be sure, but not any better than other restaurants that serve New Yorks.
My wife didnt like the mashed potatoes that came with the steak. They were green due to being whipped with herbs of some sort. Almost like they were trying a little too hard to be creative (I thought they were ok).
I would recommend this restaurant, but I think the expectations should be lowered a bit. For a celebrity Chef, this is NOT what I'd expect.....I was expecting to be blown away.
In short, this is a very good restaurant but not "GREAT".....
Pros: Very good restaurant with Good food and good service
Cons: doenst live up to the expectations of a restaurant owned by a celebrity chef
