overrated

the pizza is the most overrated in Seattle, the crust is terrible, a hard plate of crust with a dough rim to hold a mountain of various toppings. It really isn't pizza as much as a hodge podge of pizza toppings plopped into a crust. If portions is what you are after than you will enjoy. Otherwise, the crust, sauce, toppings... substandard.

A Real Treat

I have been visiting Northlake for over 30 years. It has been consistently the best pizza through the years. None other has demonstrated that they can maintain the quality like Northlake Tavern and Pizza House. You may have to wait in line at times to be seated but it's well worth it.

Average Pizza

While the pizza here isn't breaking any world records, it is pretty good. Northlake Tavern is a great place to go with a group of friends, enjoy some pizza and a pitcher or two of beer.

The place can get busy on weekends which slows down the service greatly. If the place is busy all I can say is just relax and wait.

WHAT HAPPENED?

I have been going there for 25 years, not as much lately. I would recommend this pizza to all my friends until the other day. I got a pizza that was nothing like the ones in the past, something has changed, something is broke. I hope they can fix it before my next visit or I wont be back. It has always been over priced but because of quality it was worth it.

Love It

Living in So. CA we don't get a chance to eat at the Northlake often enough. But growing up there spent a lot of time in the "U district". However when in Washington we're there. We have turned several of our friends from So. CA on to the Norhtlake as well.
And so on and so forth. I love it when I'm visiting someplace & I have a Northlake jacket or tee shirt & someone stops me and says you know about the Northlake. They have been known to flash freeze & fly FedEx uncooked Pizza to Alaksa.

We love them. Meat Lovers & can't say enough about the different types of beers. Just try gettin in during a Huskie game! Even when you know the owners and from out of state doesn't have much pull.
