Personable & Knowledgable
Just a quick follow-up on my visit to Seattle Pottery Supply. SPS staff were friendly and informative on the phone, supplying prices and availability with ease. I was a little leary (prepared?) of actually going into the store after reading the first review, but need won out. They were as charming in person as they were on the phone and I got my kiln shelf paper. Perhaps - like all of us - they have bad days too. This wasn't one of them! Thanks SPS

Grouchy Unhelpful Staff
I still recommend this place for the prices and the cheap firing service they provide, but the staff are very hostile to novices and not very helpful. They are not polite and actually seem to groan when asked questions. If you can put up with this behavior, you will get excellent deals on products and firing. To me, it is worth it., though I always exit scratching my head about why they insist on being so mean to their clients. I guess it is burn-out - little pay for the job they do.
