There probably aren't enough adjectives or adverbs in the world to describe how tasty I find RoRo BBQ & Grill. I had no idea that this place even existed until recently, and I'm super happy that I've now found a place to fulfill my BBQ needs.
One of the reasons I probably would have never found this place had Yelp not existed is because it's in a very non-distinct building tucked away in Fremont/Wallingford without flashy signs. Just seeing it from the outside, I would be a little skeptical. But once you step inside, it's absolutely adorable! Little pig figurines and Texan knick knacks galore! The music was blasting country music, some of which were countrified versions of Simon & Garfunkel songs.
The menu is pretty extensive, ranging from combination platters to a variety of sandwiches. I went with a sweet tea and the beef rib plate, which came with two sides - I chose mac n cheese and cornbread. Tables come with a variety of BBQ sauces, but my favorite was the Spicy & Sweet. My combination plate was a lot of food! The ribs were nicely cooked and seasoned, and the meat was very tender. The mac n cheese tasted homemade instead of standard issue. I ate until I was full and still had plenty leftovers.
BBQ is always on the pricey side, but I felt the prices were reasonable for food that good. The area inside is small, probably just 3-4 tables, but there is also counter space. I will definitely be back, especially with friends. There are so many tasty things that I want to try!
